2 PhD Positions in Geomorphology and Cosmogenic Nuclides (GFZ Potsdam)

Dirk Scherler

Dear Colleagues,

We are inviting applications for 2 PhD positions (3.5 years each) at the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), member of the Helmholtz Association, in Potsdam, Germany. The positions are part of the ERC-funded project “Climate sensitivity of glacial landscape dynamics (COLD)”. The main aim of COLD is to quantify how erosion rates in glacial landscapes vary with climate change and how such changes affect the dynamics of mountain glaciers. The COLD-team will consist of 3 PhD students, 1 postdoc researcher, and the PI D. Scherler.

More details:

Application deadline: 15th November 2017
