AGU 2019: Multi-decadal to centennial variability in ice sheets and sea level

GOLDBERG Daniel
Dear all

I would like to share this AGU session on behalf of the conveners:

Session ID: 76741
Session Title: Multi-decadal to centennial variability in ice sheets and sea level
Section: Cryosphere
Abstract: Understanding the drivers behind multi-decadal to centennial-scale variability in ice sheets and sea level is crucial when planning for a warming world. However, the magnitude and timing of the response of ice sheets to past climatic changes remains poorly understood. This makes attribution of the causes of episodic and secular changes in mass balance, and their associated contribution to sea level change, challenging.

We welcome any abstracts seeking to understand or decipher temporal variability in ice sheets, ice streams, and ice shelves -- through modelling, observations or combinations thereof.

Dan Goldberg, on behalf of Leanne Wake, Sarah Woodroffe, Kristian Kjeldsen, and Edward Hanna
