APECS November Newsletter Published

APECS Director
November is a very exciting month for the APECS President. Travelling over the central part of Russia, Yulia Zaika will organize numerous activities to help Russian polar researchers create new opportunities. The first stop will be M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University where Yulia will give a presentation to the students and early career scientists and will discuss their needs and concerns as well as possible ways of collaboration with Russian organizations at a round-table meeting together with the Deputy Dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Geography Dr. S.Chalov and the President of the European Geography Association for students and young geographers S.Samsonova. Furthermore, a lot of exciting in-person meetings are planned with members of the Russian Union of Young Scientists, researchers from the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Student Associations.

For more information on APECS activities and programs, and the wider world of polar research, please visit http://apecs.is/newsletters for the latest issue of the APECS newsletter.

-- Yulia Zaika, APECS President
