APECS webinar: "Scientific Education Outreach" - March 22 at 17:00 GMT

This week's webinar (on Tuesday, 22 March 2011) is entitled "Scientific Education Outreach” and will be presented by Elena Sparrow, Education Outreach Director, International Arctic Research Center, and Research Professor, School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Education and public outreach has become an increasingly necessary component of a scientific career whether in academia or in industry.  This webinar will give an overview and examples of different types of education outreach that you can incorporate in your work as well as in research proposals for funding.
