Arctic Change 2020 conference: Changes in the Marine Cryosphere - Sept. 8 deadline

Luke Copland

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to submit an abstract for our session on ‘Changes in the Marine Cryosphere’, as part of the international Arctic Change 2020 conference which will be hosted online from December 7-10. This meeting is the largest of its kind in Canada, and is hosted by the ArcticNet Network of Centres of Excellence. We encourage contributions from researchers working in field, modelling and remote sensing studies of all aspects of tidewater glaciers, sea ice, ice shelves and icebergs, with more information available at

The conference has a total of 61 topical sessions. To submit your abstract for either a presentation or an e-poster, visit the website at:

All submissions must be received by end of day Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

To limit potential technical difficulties that may arise during live presentations, and to enable presenters to respond to questions in real time, all presentations must be recorded in advance. Applicants will be notified if their submission has been accepted by September 25, 2020. All videos must be received by the ArcticNet Secretariat by November 1, 2020 to be included in the conference. All e-posters must be submitted as a PDF by end of day Sunday, November 15, 2020.

We hope to see you (virtually!) at Arctic Change 2020.
