Call-for-data 2010/11

World Glacier Monitoring Service
Dear CRYOLIST-subscribers,

The World Glacier Monitoring Service (WGMS) has opened the call-for-data
for the observation period 2010/11. If you carried out measurements of
glacier fluctuations (e.g., glacier front variations, mass balance, and
geodetic volume changes) during this period or if you have unpublished
data series from earlier years, you are kindly invited to submit your data
via our national correspondents who organize the data compilation in their

Data submission deadline is the 1st of December, 2012.

The compiled glacier fluctuation data (together with reference to the
principal investigators) will be published in the ‘Glacier Mass Balance
Bulletin’ and/or the ‘Fluctuations of Glaciers’ series and are made
digitally available by the WGMS and within the Global Terrestrial Network
for Glaciers (

If you have any questions concerning the data submission, please do not
