Dear Colleagues,
Please consider submitting an abstract to the following session at Fall AGU 2012, Dec. 3-7
G011: Geodetic Observations of GIA: A Window into Past Ice Sheets and Earth Rheology and an Unmasking Filter for Space Observations of Ice and Hydrological Change
Rapid emergence of glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA) science in geodesy over the past 15 years has been promoted by great advancements in observations, both terrestrial and from space.  A new role for GIA geodesy is now embraced by hydrology and cryospheric sciences because the interpretation of global mass changes, as measured by GRACE, requires quite accurate maps of GIA.  This session invites contributions that address all types of observations of GIA, solid earth or ocean physics, and ice-sheet evolution constraints and/or models, that help illuminate more accurate predictions of GIA.
The deadline for abstract submission is 8 August 2012:
