Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the Training Seminar on Snow
Remote Sensing to be held April 18-20, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Seminar will include a series of lectures given by research
scientists from Turkey, Finland, USA on physical aspects of snow
remote sensing, satellite sensors used to map and monitor global snow
cover, available snow products, validation techniques and application
of satellite-derived information on snow cover in environmental models.

The Seminar is sponsored by Turkish Water Foundation in cooperation
with Turkish State Meteorological Service.

Graduate and PhD students, postdocs and research scientists interested
in satellite remote sensing and cryosphere studies are invited to attend.

registration. Limited wave registration fee will be available for
selected students.
