Cryospheric PhD opportunities at Northumbria University, UK

Matt Westoby
Dear Cryolisters,

We would like to draw your attention to four cryospheric PhD studentships which are currently being advertised in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Northumbria University, UK.

Links to full project descriptions are included below, along with the primary supervisor. Please direct enquiries to the respective supervisors in the first instance.

All projects have a strict application deadline of 28th January 2018. Whether or not a project attracts funding through Northumbria's Researcher Development Framework will be dependent in the first instance on the quality of the applicants.

Northumbria University, Newcastle is now in the UK top 50 for research power and has been recognised by the Times Higher Education as having the biggest rise in research power of any UK university following the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF2014).
