All projects have a strict application deadline of 28th January 2018. Whether or not a project attracts funding through Northumbria's Researcher Development Framework will be dependent in the first instance on the quality of the applicants.
Successful candidates will join the Cold and Palaeo-Environments research cluster and will align with the University's Extreme Environments Multidisciplinary Research Theme. Northumbria University, Newcastle is now in the UK top 50 for research power and has been recognised by the Times Higher Education as having the biggest rise in research power of any UK university following the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF2014).
