Debris Covered Glaciers: EGU 2012 session reminder

Lindsey Nicholson
Hello all,

The number of submissions to EGU 2012 General Assembly session CR8.20: Debris Covered Glaciers is growing and it promises to be an exciting and diverse session.
Session details can be found here: http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2012/session/10238

The research interest in debris-covered glacial systems is increasing and this session offers the chance to exchange the latest knowledge and push forward the new science and understanding of the significance of these glaciers. So, if you have an interest in the processes acting on debris-covered glaciers, or how the debris cover distinguishes them from clean-ice glacier systems in terms of ice dynamics, geomorphology, hydrology, and climate interaction then  join our session and contribute to the discussion by submitting your own abstract.

The deadline for submissions is tomorrow 17 January 2012
Details on how to submit an abstract are here: http://www.egu2012.eu/abstract_management/how_to_submit_an_abstract.html

Hope to see you in Vienna,

Lindsey Nicholson, Doug Benn and Martin Kirkbride
