EGU 2019 session on ice shelves and tidewater glaciers ... abstract deadline approaching

Jenkins, Adrian
Dear All,

There is an important deadline approaching this week.  On Thursday 10th January at 13:00 CET abstract submissions close for the 2019 European Geosciences Union General Assembly, to be held in Vienna, Austria, during the week of 7-12 April 2019.

You will have seen many emails already, highlighting aspects of the diverse scientific programme, but we would like to draw your attention to a session co-organised by the Cryospheric Sciences and Ocean Sciences:

CR5.5/OS1.20
Ice shelves and tidewater glaciers - dynamics, interactions, observations, modelling (co-organized)

For further details and a link to online abstract submission, please visit https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/egu2019/sessionprogramme

For a flavour of what to expect, take a look at last year's oral (https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2018/orals/26466) and poster (https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2018/posters/26466) programmes.

We hope to have an equally exciting programme this year and look forward to receiving contributions.

We hope to see you in Vienna.

Kind regards from the CR5.4/OS1.16 convenors,

Adrian Jenkins
Angelika Humbert
Nico Joudain
Inga Koszalka
Andreas Vieli
