covered in lectures, excursions and workshops include dating techniques such as
exposure dating with cosmogenic nuclides, OSL, 137Cs, 210Pb, etc.),
dendrochronology, anthracology, archaeomagnetic dating,
palaeolimnology, as well as relative methods like soil weathering and Schmidt-hammer
