Visiting Assistant Professor/Atmospheric Science/University
The Department of Geography at KU invites applications
for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in atmospheric science to
begin as early as August 18, 2010. We seek an individual with sufficient
expertise to teach synoptic meteorology, dynamic meteorology,
laboratory-structured weather forecasting, and introductory meteorology. The
work load will be a standard 40% Teaching, 40% Research and 20% Service. This
translates to a teaching load of two courses per semester, plus occasional
guest lectures, assisting with advising of undergraduate students in
atmospheric science, supervising internships, and departmental service. Refer

or a related discipline expected by start date of appointment.
