Dear Colleagues
The British Antarctic Survey is looking for a Polar Climate Scientist to join their Atmosphere, Ice and Climate team. This role will examine the representation of coastal winds around Antarctica in the latest global climate
models, examine the processes that control these winds and assess how they may change in the future. This research will be of broad relevance across disciplines, since wind patterns adjacent to the Antarctic continent are, for example, linked to variability
and trends in sea ice, Antarctic bottom water formation and ice shelf basal melt.

Potential candidates are very welcome to contact Tom Bracegirdle ([hidden email]) with any questions about the role.
Regards,
Tom
