Lifetime-of-Halley Glaciologist at British Antarctic Survey
Good afternoon all,
The British Antarctic Survey currently have a vacancy for a Lifetime-of-Halley Glaciologist.
The staff member will be responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of the several instrument networks used to monitor the ice shelf, and for the acquisition and analysis of satellite imagery to support decision-making concerning
the safety of infrastructure and personnel. In addition, the post-holder will contribute to related science projects to understand the history, structure and properties of the ice shelf, and may undertake numerical simulation of ice-shelf.
