Kara Gergely

The MEaSUREs Annual Antarctic Ice Velocity Maps 2005-2016 , Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set, part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program, provides 11 annual maps of Antarctic ice velocity from 2005-2016. The maps are assembled using ALOS PALSAR, ENVISAT ASAR, RADARSAT-1, RADARSAT-2, Sentinel-1, TerraSAR-X (TSX), TanDEM –X (TDX) SAR data, and Landsat-8 optical imagery.

Access to the data and documentation is provided on the data set Web page at the NSIDC DAAC: http://nsidc.org/data/nsidc-0720
