Open PostDoc Position in Remote Sensing of the Cryosphere

Tobias Bolch-2
Dear colleagues,

I want to announce a 24-months postdoctoral research fellow post in remote sensing of the cryosphere to work on the project Estimation of Glacier Mass Changes on the Third Pole since the 1960s. You will work in a highly motivated team of remote sensing and glaciology experts within the Mountain Cryosphere and Glaciology Research Groups at the University of St Andrews, Scotland UK. Moreover, you will work in close collaboration with scientists from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing and from other countries of High Mountain Asia. The topic is relatively broad and you have the opportunity to specialise yourself within the project requirements. There is also the possibility to join field work.
The post will commence as soon as possible and the current situation allows.
