PERMOS Report 2014/2015 to 2017/2018 now available!

Jeannette Nötzli
Permafrost in Switzerland 2014/2015 to 2017/2018

Permafrost conditions have warmed and rock glaciers have accelerated since 2009 in the Swiss Alps - with a temporary interruption following the snow poor winter 2016/2017.
Continuously decreasing electrical resistivities point to a persisting loss in ground ice.

The new 4-year report on Permafrost in Switzerland (PERMOS Report 16-19) is available online:

Hardcopies are free and can be ordered at the PERMOS [hidden email]
The correponding data set is available at: http://dx.doi.org/10.13093/permos-2019-01

Sincerly,
Jeannette Nötzli and Cécile Pellet
