Ph.D. course ‘Space methods for monitoring the cryosphere’

Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the SVALI Ph.D. course / summer school
‘Space methods for monitoring the cryosphere’
18-22 June 2012, arranged by DTU Space.

The course will cover fundamentals of space based monitoring of glaciers and ice caps, such as satellite gravimetry, altimetry, GPS and SAR interferometry.

SVALI  (Stability and Variation of Arctic Land Ice) is a Nordic Centre of Excellence (www.ncoe-svali.org). The general aim of SVALI is to quantify the current and future changes of land ice in the Arctic and North-Atlantic region.
