PhD position in glacier reconstruction and modelling available at Ulster University (UK)

McNabb, Robert
Hello cryosphere enthusiasts,

The School of Geography and Environmental Sciences (GES) at Ulster University have a number of exciting funded PhD projects available for a Fall 2021 start. Perhaps the most interesting project for cryolist users is 'Constraining Past and Future Glacier Mass Changes in Northwest North America', which combines aspects of remote sensing, geopmorphology, and glacier modelling. If you know any students who are interested in glaciers, old pictures and photogrammetry, geomorphological mapping, or glacier modelling, please encourage them to apply. Deadline for applications is 5 February 2021.

For more information about this project, see: https://www.ulster.ac.uk/doctoralcollege/find-a-phd/794533.

You can find more information about all available GES projects here:

cheers,

bob
