Polar Science at SciPy 2017

Allen Pope
Dear Polar Scientists,

The Polar Research Coordination Network (polar-computing.org) aims to connect the Polar Science, Data and High-Performance and Distributed Computing (HPDC) communities to enable deeper penetration of computing methods and cyberinfrastructure into the polar sciences.

With that aim in mind, we want to know who in the polar research community is going to be at SciPy 2017 in Austin this July (https://scipy2017.scipy.org/). Looking to connect with other polar people there? Want to share how scientific python is of interest to the polar community? Please fill out this very short form and let us know!  https://goo.gl/forms/JArnIDL8ifw3o7ZG3

Best,
The Polar HPDC RCN
Shantenu Jha
Heather Lynch
Jaroslaw Nabrzyski
Jane Wyngaard
Allen Pope

PS Please feel free to share widely!
