Research Assistant in satellite remote sensing/glaciology
(vacancy ref. 16861)
The aim of
the project is to produce a reconstruction of Antarctic mass
synthesising complementary measurements from (i) radar and laser
(ii) mass budget estimates, (iii) satellite gravity measurements
(iv) vertical motion from GPS. This synthesis will also provide
an estimate of
glacio-isostatic adjustment, and pave the way for more accurate
the Antarctic ice-sheet contribution to sea-level rise.
