Post-doctoral position in Antarctic research at Edinburgh University


Dear Cryolist

The University of Edinburgh are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral
Research Associate to support a Natural Environment Research Council
(NERC) funded project to study blue-ice moraines in the Ellsworth
Mountains of Antarctica. The project will involve the application of
cosmogenic nuclides and interpretation of geomorphological evidence to
better understand the long term evolution of the Antarctic Ice Sheet in
the Ellsworth Mountain region.

Job title: Postdoctoral Research Associate applying Cosmogenic Nuclides
in Antarctica

Project leaders: Prof. David Sugden and Dr. Andrew Hein

Start date and duration: 1 March 2013 to 31 August 2015

The closing date for applications is 10 Jan 2013.
