Sea-Level Rise and the Ice Sheet System Model. Town Hall Meeting. AGU Portland. Monday Feb 12. F151. 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

Larour, Eric (329C)

Dear Colleagues,

the Ice Sheet System Model (issm.jpl.nasa.gov) team is organizing a town-hall meeting at the

AGU Portland next week, on Monday, December 12, 2018, at 6:30pm, Oregon Convention

Center, F151.

The goal of this town hall meeting is to provide a forum for scientists interested in using the

Ice Sheet System Model (ISSM, issm.jpl.nasa.gov) to carry out modeling in the field of Sea-Level

Rise. Updates on recent developments regarding ice-flow modeling, GIA and ESA modeling,

Sea-Level modeling using the ISSM-SESAW approach, and other types of couplings between

Glaciers/Ice Sheets and Sea Level will be presented. If time allows, a small clinic will be organized for scientists

who wish to learn about ISSM or install it on their machine. Extensive support will be provided

after the Town Hall.

We welcome anybody interested in sea-level, solid-earth and/or ice sheet modeling!

Thanks!
