Special Issue on "Adaptations and Challenges of Polar Marine Primary Producers"

Nina Schuback
Dear colleagues,
I would like to draw your attention to a special issue on "Adaptations and Challenges of Polar Marine Primary Producers" in the MPDI open access journal Oceans. The special issue will consider original research on primary producers from marine habitats (open ocean, coastal substrates, sea-ice, sub-ice, marginal ice-zone, etc.) in polar regions, including the Arctic, Antarctic and sub-polar ecosystems. More information about the special issue can be found here, deadline for the submission of manuscripts is 30 September 2021.
Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the editorial office for announcement on the website. If at least 10 papers are published as part of the special issue, they will be collated in the form of an e-book.
We hope that you will consider submitting your research to the special issue, and share this information widely among your research network.
Best wishes,
Nina Schuback
