Update (through November 2017) to MEaSUREs Greenland Mosaics from SAR and Landsat
The MEaSUREs Greenland Annual Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 1 and MEaSUREs Greenland Quarterly Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 1 data sets, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) have been updated with mosaics through November 2017. These data sets, part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program, contain annual and quarterly (three-month interval) ice velocity mosaics for the Greenland Ice Sheet derived from Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data obtained by the German Aerospace Center's (DLR) TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X (TSX/TDX), the European Space Agency's (ESA) Copernicus Sentinel-1A and -1B satellites, and from US Geological Survey (USGS) Landsat 8 optical imagery. The data are available from December 2014 through November 2017.
Access to the data and documentation is provided on the data set Web pages at the NSIDC DAAC:
