Webinar for New Masters Program in Nature Culture Sustainability/Global Arts and Culture

Damian White
Dear Colleagues,

Just want to let you know that we are running a webinar tomorrow (Tue, Dec 12, 2017 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST) introducing the new RISD Graduate Programs in Nature Culture Sustainability Studies and Global Arts and Culture. You can sign up for the webinar here:

Here are the general descriptions of the Masters degrees and links to further information:

Students in the Nature–Culture–Sustainability Studies graduate program will develop methods for addressing urgent environmental issues in relation to cultural objects and processes. They will conduct interdisciplinary research in focus areas in the environmental humanities and the environmental social sciences that include but are not limited to: Anthropocene studies, climate change cultures, post-humanisms, green urbanisms and sustainable design futures.

Global Arts and Culture offers a foundation in critical global studies, theories of representation, and interdisciplinary research practices in the humanities and social sciences. Students pursue hybrid research projects in such focus areas as aesthetics, politics and theory; display and exhibition cultures; material, visual and performance cultures; and modern and contemporary arts and criticism.

Happy to field further inquiries
